I had to face the reality of mortality yesterday, as did my whole family. It was expected, but the pain is still so real, so moving, so sad.

My 88 year old uncle passed away from cancer. He was in end of life care, functioning on one lung and slipping away daily. He was in the hospice and time wasn’t on his side. He passed yesterday…
